The second generation SIG716 features an improved gas system, lightweight handguard, and an overall weight reduction of more than two pounds. The two-stage match trigger and muzzle brake improve accuracy to a level thought impossible from a gas piston. Its two-position adjustable gas system keeps carbon, excessive heat and other fouling out of the chamber, enhancing reliability and accuracy. The Sig716 has a free-floating, aluminum, KeyMod handguard with a continuous top rail, polymer grip, A2-style flash hider, and 5/8 24 tpi threads. This 6.5 Creedmoor Marksman model has a FDE cerakote finish, Magpul PRS stock, and ambidextrous charging handle.
